Text Messaging and Alerts Terms and Conditions

Farmers Insurance Hawaii provides a text messaging subscription program through a third party vendor.

This text messaging subscription allows you to request and receive messages and alerts about your Farmers Hawaii policy. Farmers Hawaii does not charge a subscription fee. Participation in the programs on this short code is standard rated and message and data rates may apply from your mobile carrier .

By providing your consent to participate in this text messaging subscription program, you approve any such charges from your mobile carrier. Charges will appear on your mobile phone bill or be deducted from your prepaid balance.

Subject to the terms and conditions of your mobile carrier, you may receive text messages and alerts sent to your mobile phone. Click here for a list of participating mobile carriers.

  • Text messaging subscription is effective as soon as you complete the enrollment process.
  • You accept that each text message may not be encrypted, and may include information pertaining to your account.
  • Receipt of each text message may be delayed, or prevented by factors affecting your mobile carrier and/or factors outside of our control. Farmers Insurance Hawaii, Inc., its parent company and affiliates will not be liable for losses or damages arising from a) non-delivery, delayed delivery, or misdirected delivery of a text message; b) inaccurate or incomplete content in a text message; or c) your use in reliance on the contents of any text message for any purposes.
  • Message frequency varies by account. You may receive a varying number of messages per month depending on the activity on your policy, your payment frequency and your bill-paying habits.
  • Text HELP to 57242 or call 800-672-9569 with questions.
  • You are responsible for the types of text messages you receive. Text STOP to 57242 if you no longer wish to receive text messages from Farmers Hawaii.
  • By enrolling in this subscription program, you consent that following such a STOP request to unsubscribe, you will receive one final message from Farmers Hawaii confirming that your subscription has been deactivated in our system. Following this confirmation, no additional text messages will be sent unless you re-enroll.

We reserve the right to terminate this text messaging subscription program, in whole or in part, at any time without notice. The information in any text message may be subject to certain time lags and/or delays. You may stop receiving text messages at any time by sending STOP to 57242 or you may also opt-out by logging into farmershawaii.com from a web browser or calling 800-672-9569.

A.No. Only one device may be associated with your policy

Q. I have signed up for Farmers Hawaii text messages. Why am I not receiving any text messages?

A. There could be several reasons. Here are just a few:

  1. You never responded ENROLL to the enrollment invitation message that was sent to the mobile device you provided. Verify that the number you provided is correct by logging into farmershawaii.com.
  2. You do not meet the criteria for receiving alerts. For example, you pay your premium bill before it is due, therefore there would be no need to send you a reminder.
  3. Your mobile account is with a carrier that is not supported by our subscription program. Click here for a list of participating mobile carriers.
  4. Text messaging for your device has not been activated on your service plan. Check with your mobile carrier.
Q. I stopped my Text Alert messaging service. How do I get it back?

A.To start receiving text alerts you must sign up again. You must opt-in and consent to receive text messages from the Farmers Hawaii Text Alert subscription program. You can enroll by logging into farmershawaii.com, at "Text Preferences" click on the opt-in box and enter the number for your mobile device. When you receive the initial message, text back ENROLL to 57242 to complete the process.
